These terms explain how ComLinker may be downloaded, evaluated, licensed, and used for Windows TCP to virtual COM port workflows.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using ComLinker, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the software.
2. Product Description
ComLinker is a Windows desktop application that maps TCP/IP endpoints to local virtual COM ports. It is intended for device communication, industrial connectivity, testing, and legacy serial software workflows.
3. License and Activation
A Standard License grants one user a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use ComLinker on one Windows workstation. Activation codes are delivered by email after successful payment. You may not resell, share, publish, reverse engineer, or bypass licensing controls.
4. Free Trial
The free trial is provided so you can evaluate ComLinker in your own environment before purchasing. Trial availability, duration, and features may change as the product evolves.
5. Payments and Refunds
Payments are processed through PayPal or another supported payment provider. Prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise. Refund requests are handled under our Refund Policy.
6. Acceptable Use
- Use ComLinker only in lawful environments where you have permission to connect devices and systems.
- Do not use the software to interfere with networks, devices, third-party systems, or safety-critical operations.
- You are responsible for validating configuration, reliability, and suitability before using ComLinker in production.
7. Support and Updates
We may provide email support, bug fixes, and product updates at our discretion. Support may require diagnostic information that you choose to provide.
8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
ComLinker is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, equipment downtime, production interruption, or configuration mistakes.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms when product, payment, licensing, or legal requirements change. Continued use of ComLinker after updates means you accept the revised terms.
