Import and Export Config

Export a configuration

1. Open ComLinker.
2. Click Config.
3. Choose Export Config.
4. Save the JSON file somewhere safe.

Import a configuration

1. Click Config.
2. Choose Import Config.
3. Select the JSON file.
4. Review any virtual COM ports created or already available.
5. Start the imported rules and test them.

Important notes

Importing a configuration stops current connections and replaces the rule list. Verify COM numbers, physical serial devices, and firewall rules on the target machine.
